I have never made any bones about Bush screwing up big time with the illegal immigration issue. He wanted amnesty, which was totally off base and as for the fence, political paybacks, nothing less.

As for Obama tackling it, does he do the brave thing and attack the corporations who hire? If he does, I will give him credit! Or does he take the Bush amnesty stance?

No he didn't ...he wanted along with dems & a few responsible republicans a way that was a legal, costly and lengthy for them to become citizens .. That's not amnesty that's working your way to citizenship.

As far as your "attack the corporations" .. there have been raids last year maybe this year at some businesses .. just as the bush admn. did .. that's a law that's been on the books and has been for a long time ..

"I have never made any bones about Bush screwing up big time with the illegal immigration issue" - How about his massive spending - not just on his war, but an unfunded prescrip drug bill, and tax cuts 2x for top earners WHILE paying for his war?...How about his expansion of the fed gov't?...How about his worst crime - the LIE he told the world about WMD, causing massive loss of lives?...And yes, no illegal immigration policy enforcement. Neocons love to profess they're against these things, yet they never had a problem with the bum and re-elected the bum in '04!

"As for Obama...does he do the brave thing" - Most reasonably intelligent people know we cannot round up the estimated 18-20 million illegals and send them back to their country of origin. For starters, we don't know where many of them are because they work in the shadows...which leads me to corps who hire illegal immigrants - it takes more than shutting a corp down for just 24hrs to get them to abide by immigration laws already on the books.
