Fannie Mae postpones winter economic outlook conference

WASHINGTON (CBS.MW) -- Mortgage finance giant Fannie Mae (FNM) on Monday postponed, for the second time, an economic and mortgage market outlook press conference. Originally scheduled for Dec. 16, it was postponed until Dec. 29 and will now take place in mid-January, a spokesman said. Shares of Fannie, whose accounting is still under investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Justice Department, were recently trading at $69.86, up 24 cents.
