Press Release Source: Russell Industries, Inc. On Thursday April 1, 2010, 1:08 pm EDT
HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Russell Industries, Inc. (Pink Sheets: RIND - News). William R. Wilder, Ph.D., President of Axis Environmental Services, Inc., reports that the full scale production pilot reactor has been successfully growing algae since early March. Initial low dosage inoculation has resulted in substantial population density, with current tests focusing on nutrient balance optimization and harvesting/extraction methodologies. The bench scale reactor has been inoculated with a high dose culture and is currently being monitored for growth curve parameters as well as nutrient consumption and CO2 dosage requirements. All operational goals are at or ahead of schedule, and samples for extraction efficiency will be collected in early April. Additional samples for verification of chemical and physical characteristics will also be collected in April and submitted to independent laboratories to validate suitability for various fuel applications.

Lets hope he mixes the right chemicals!. No one could be more deserving. The govt needs a place for these people, unlike the country clubs. First they need to stop categorizing them as white collar crooks, and eliminate this law which gives them special privileges, mainly separated from the rest of prison population. They undoubtedly deserve to be there. OR, consider the use of Devils Island owned by the French. The jails are a little run down today, but more than accomodating for people like Berman, and his kind. No restoration is needed other than making the cells secure in case they are inclined to sneak out at night. If these prisoners want a little better enviroment they can clean it up.

I guess its a tourist attraction today, but there must be something in South America or off our coast that would fit the bill.
