re: CRDM

the ticker is actually CRME, a canadian company.
from the company's website: "Its mechanism of action involves blockade of multiple ion channels with rapid interaction and dissociation from target sites". you may find more info at http://cardiome.com/research/products/rsd1235/index.html

I should state somethings about my trading/investing strategy so as to not lead folks astray, esp if they are more into fundamentals than i am. I am a trader/investor that primarily relies on technicals first, fundamentals second. I pretty much stick to three types of plays, in order of preference: 1) the Indices and overal market (i find it easier to analyze an entire market than a single stock...much more varied data available), 2) Low float momo stocks (these are higher risk, but tend to move quickly when volume enters and even after a decent run...optimism sometimes prevail over common sense) , 3) stocks that are not widely held, or do not typically generate big volume, but either have a product or is working on a product that MAY have a good fundamental impact on the company later.

In all of these however, i stick with technicals in choosing what to play, and if the fundamentals are there, that is great...and by technicals, not just mean the price chart, but also sentiment overall and the public and institution bias. If both the public and institutions are bullish, i tend to avoid, unless it falls into category #2 above and the move just started...but tend to exit these quick...

anyway..that's a little bit about my trading strategy.

How do you all tend to play this market?
