Yep, I'll be watching.
My concern- this year, in this atmosphere- is with the whole concept of bank "earnings."
On the street and among people in general there's a tremendously negative and suspicious perception of bank accounting, bookkeeping, transparency and good old-fashioned truthtelling. It would be naive to say that much of it is not justified.
I'm certainly not saying that the Huntington is a bunch of liars- I hope they're not- but these days a good earnings report, even when backed up by facts and figures, doesn't have the same PPS effect as it used to.
