#94394 RE: microcapfun #94373

"You've already made up your mind, most likely through politics rather than science, because the science is clear."  Funny how those who use pseudo-science to bolster their prejudices always project that very attitude onto any who don't follow their lead.  My mind is perfectly open on the subject of climate change, but not susceptible to "tree ring data" from six trees, then five, then...well, you get the idea...nor is it susceptible to graphs which have to be heavily modified or corrected or rectified, or whatever euphemism is currently in vogue in the "warming" set for "fudged". You, on the other hand (along with all such eminent scientists as Barbara Streisand, Al Gore, and Katrina vanden Heuvel), with your laughable pronouncement that "the science is clear", have absolutely closed your mind on the matter--to what purpose I know not, unless it's just to place yourself into a proper and comfortable political and cultural position--before anyone has yet fired a single accurate shot on the matter.

Rave on.

OT Microcapfun,

I'll agree that it's completely logical that human life effects the atmosphere just like humans effect the land and seas.

What I don't agree with is that our governments have the ability to fix the problem in any logical or sensable way. Carbon Credits could be one of the biggest gimmic's in the world. If there's any fault so far it's the scientists themselves working in the political arena.

Our world governments have never fixed one thing correctly.
