Probably stating the obvious, but need to be very careful with any newsletter rankings. For example, Brinker is at the top of the second list of rankings, but this does not take into account his disastrous foray into QQQ in the Fall of '01, which he still holds today. Conveniently, he does not include this "short term" trade in any of his model portfolios, and it is the model portfolios that are used for comparative rankings.
