Only problem is, volume can result from a pump and dump. It appears to me that it is possible with sufficient funds to aggressively buy this up to unexpected highs, and then sell into the buying that comes along with it from others who think something is happening.
This looked good until it fell from 18 to 17 middday.
That being said, there may indeed be something happening and the security is being held back. I am not saying this is a bad play or anything like that, I just was disappointed at the midday fall.
Anything could apparently happen at any time.
I also wonder since Fresenius is headquartered in Germany if these units are available to trade and short on German exchanges. I suppose it doesn't matter since one can short them technically in the US too, it's a nasdaq issue. Only problem is it would take huge margin to do that, of which basically only hedge funds are capable for any decent profit in a 2 cent move down.
