CDW Computer (CDWC) is up $5.04, or 12.2 percent, to $46.34, after the Vernon Hills, Ill., technology products firm boosted its outlook for the third quarter to earnings of 58 to 61 cents a share on revenue of $1.13 billion to $1.15 billion. The company had been looking for earnings of 50 to 53 cents a share on revenue of $1.08 billion to $1.13 billion in the period. The company said that sales of its Microsoft products were "particularly strong" in July due to a change in their licensing programs.
