Cognizant of the fact that the Iraqi election most likely will lead to civil war and that the country is too chaotic for a fair election Bush is pushing ahead with the election anyway.
Bush is most probably behind the Kurds' United Nations petition even though he is well aware of the fact that the Kurds in petitioning the UN for an independent nation will most certainly start a civil war.
It is entirely possible the United States, an ally of the UAE, is the hidden force behind the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC) request that the European Union mediate the issue of the disputed islands between Iran and the UAE in an attempt to create an unhealthy political climate. The involvement of the EU has the potential to ignite an international crisis and divide the Arabs. This looks like the United States is attempting to escalate the territorial dispute as a means to diminish Iran. Bush would then be the catalyst in a ‘civil’ war among the countries of the Middle East, this time dividing the Arabs and the Iranians. #msg-3136614
A civil war is starting to look like the most likely avenue through which Bush can accomplish his agenda, whether the catalyst be the Iraqi election, the Kurds petition to the UN or the island dispute between the UAE and Iran.
While people contemplate just how ludicrous Bush’s moves in Iraq have been in that he is agitating or fostering a situation that can only culminate in a civil war one has to wonder if this is in fact his real purpose.
The Mosul attack of December 21 apparently carried out by insurgents who are part of the US-trained Iraqi armed forces killed a lot of Kurds at approximately the same time the Kurds planned to meet with United Nations officials in New York City on Wednesday, 22 December 2004, to deliver the more than two million signatures in what looks to be an attempt to seek UN approval to form an independent nation.
