Wow. The story was certainly sexy enough to have created the perfect storm. I only sold because I was on the phone with a cousin who was a significant trader at the time and I was counting my unrealized gains when I was on the phone with him. His first response to me was "Experience tells me that whenever you are particulary excited about a holding and you begin to count your money before you have sold the stock....that is your sign to sell between 80-100%"....Since then that principle has proven true much more than it has let me down.
