Stephanie....we began this exchange/thread with HC & Romney....

and, you put the icing on the cake with:

allow me to give you some food for thought, rather than answer you in kind....

Massachusetts is Kennedy land....it has a long history of strong Democratic presence in its government....

yes, there have been some Republican governors....most considered liberal, as far as Republicans go......

You make it seem like Massachusetts HC is the brainchild of some conservative Republican named Romney who opted for state socialized medicine.....and, that the federal Dems adopted a clone plan of the Republican governor....

not the case at all....Romney was surrounded by Dems....and, he wasn't exactly molded after Sean Hannity.....

bottom line.....your stretching/distorting the truth of the matter....

FYI.....I had the opportunity to speak with a married couple from Germany in the last couple of days....they're not really thrilled with the more than 50% income tax....

and, socialized medicine is great when you have a sniffle or the flu.....but, get seriously sick.....you wait for approval for the necessary tests....and, wait again for approval for treatment....

bottom....if you're really sick...Germany is not a great place to be....

and, that's the direction in which we are conciously being taken....
