I bought 50 Dec. calls on 12/10 for $3.30 on NFI. Those calls are now $5.50. Do I sell those calls for the $11,000 gain or...Can I exercise them to defer tax consequences.

I actually asked that question today to my accountant and he said he'd get back to me, but I'm thinking I'll need to make a decision at market opening tomorrow.

Any advise?

Zeev, SMH is currently about 6% off it's recent December highs. Those highs are the highest SMH has been since last July. Would you anticipate a nice run in the semis along with the naz into this projected run into the Jan/Feb timeframe??
