Every stock I day-trade I have a stop risk set. I know my stop before I take the trade.. The risk on a trade is more important to me than the actual profit I might make on a trade. Knowing the risk on a trade allows me to know my position size when taking the trade then I do the quick math and I know what my loss on the trade could be.
