I happen to think that the WMI Capital Trusts were in a Class of their own because they were a Junior Claim with a Guarantee.
It was the lowest form of debt in the WMI debt structure. That was the only reason for it to be in its own class.
I have also spoken to Wells Fargo and corrected misinformation that was on the WAHUQ board and was able to obtain a breakdown of the how they arrived to the $34.xx figure which later became an allowed claim.
