Cohen's SAC Capital Discloses 8.2% Stake In InterMune (ITMN)

Steven Cohen's SAC Capital hedge fund disclosed a stake in InterMune Inc. (Nasdaq: ITMN) of 8.2%, or 4,465,400 shares. The stake was disclosed in a 13G filing. Cohen did not show a stake in InterMune at the quarter ended December 31, 2009 but did own shares in the past.

Shares of Intermune have surged 233% in March after an FDA panel recommended approval of its lung cancer drug pirfenidone.
