In short, MM's do not just simply say OK. We consolidate... HERE. Does NOT work that way.
If they put embargo on buys, they basically say so. And if the shorts 300k hitting the bids in 10 mins, they even create a channel for sideway trading.
This is the way I see it at CDIV. Of course after such a run like from 0,08 to 0,48, its was only enough to create some kind of topping and some people sold to support their attempt, but generally I do think its MMs that creates charts in normal situation at pink sheets.
