The reason they are not stopped from naked shorting is twofold.1) The SEC simply refuses to monitor and do something about it..So it continues.2) It can only be stopped by concerted effort by shareholders to demand delivery of actual certificates and MMs engaged in this activity are sharp enough to know that will never happen!!!If all were to say "I bought it ,now I want it...not just a record of it".If that were to happen the price would fly up with them losing their butts and game would be over for them.....Simple
