Next week the FIG (Future Inflation Gauge) from ECRI should be out for August data. It has a good record of predicting inflation 9-to-11 months "down the road". The July data (released in the first week of August) was up sharply. Think Augie'll get his wish.

I can relate, especially during trading hours. Seems the more preoccupied I am, the stronger their needs are;-) (they sure do a good job of making you feel guilty, don't they?) ...... worst is when they do it right as the market is 'moving' and I'm trying to quickly place a number of trades. If I don't respond quick enough, one of my (90 lb.) canine friends will begin poking or, more accurately, 'ramming' me with his nose, to let me know he's very serious about his immediate need! Not a good thing when I'm just about to hit the 'send' or 'CXL' key :-)) !
