If you were an employee, check with the State where you reside regarding their "paycheck law". Most are very strict with employers. All you need to do is understand what the law states and send BW a demand letter. You might be due damages if he doesn't comply. Good luck.

State laws often require that if an employee quits employment, they must be paid within 72 hours after their last day. If an employee is discharged, payment of wages must be made immediately!
