Ideally if we could play this perfectly, we could walk the price up steadily in the process as we are locking as many shares away possible. We should try to do that! But the point is that it's the accumulation that forces the squeeze not the bid and ask strategy. That optimizes and speeds up the process, and even increases the pps to the highest point possible before covering. But the fact is that the covering will still happen even if we aren't able to provide the bid/ask support every single day!
SHORT SQUEEZES HAPPEN ALL THE TIME IN THE MARKET, WE ARE JUST RE-CREATING IT!! Accumulation of shares by longs in a stock and market makers have a heavy short position and then news hits and a surge of volume comes in that forces the MM's to cover and they drive the price high to make their profits. That happens in the market! We are doing that exact same thing but in a controlled manner and that surge of volume that typically comes in short squeeze is spread across a longer time period for us because we are slowly accumulating the necessary shares.
