Bush just named the new head of Health & Human Services to replace Tommy Thompson. And it's not McClellan, unfortunately. The new guy has an insurance company background, and there's nothing in his resume to suggest that he knows anything about medical science, much less drug development.
I wonder what McClellan is thinking. I can't imagine that he's thrilled about staying at Medicare. Personally, I'd rather see McClellan back at the FDA. Maybe, they can find a McClellan-clone to take over at FDA.
