Obviously I've been far to technical and haven't DUMBED it down for enough people to understand, so here's the DUMBED down version
AP got bought out by the FKPH guys for $23 bucks a share. But there was some dickhead holdouts that said it wasn't enough, they wanted action on future profits. so the F kabi guys said, OK, will give you a bunch of rights, and if we make more than 1.2 whatever billion over the next 3 years, we'll give you a cut of the profits over that amount, up to $6 per right. And to make you real happy, we will quote those rights on NASD as APCVZ, just in case you want to unload em at some point.
That deadline is Dec 2010 and the goal just to meet the profit before any payout is triggered is still a long way off.
