I thought I was being clear. Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers should not be given tax money. It has nothing to do with charity donations. The original statement was about taxes for these companies that work in foreign countries. The arrogance is the people who think that they know better than other countries' leaders, and try to change laws in those countries. If India or other countries want to ban abortion, then it is their business, not PPs.
I apologize if I misunderstood you. As I said, I don't think they - or any charitable organization - should get tax dollars. But Pres. Bush has to realize that he not only didn't have a majorty, but didn't even get as many votes as his opponent. I'm not saying he shouldn't be president - I know about and accept the electoral college. I'm saying that if he want's to STAY president more than 4 years, he'd better start considering the desires of the majority, and not just the religious right who supported him.
