As long as Israel has big brother USA to fight their battles, what's to stop them from being the bully in the neighborhood?
Nothing Peg, nothing as we have seen. The thing I know is this there have been times when Israel has been more 'restrained' in it's ongoing assault of the Palestinian Arabs. INSTEAD of encouraging it as the war criminal bush administration did. Remember when bush never, ever even said "STOP ! both sides STOP"! .. he never said that. I do remember other presidents saying that .. demanding it and you know, it really did have an effect. During 'bush' time we witnessed two murderous assaults by Israel in Lebanon and Gaza. What I remember is they stopped it right before we had our change in administration either early Jan. or late Dec... not sure. Restraint I am afraid by this time is about all any US president can do. I have confidence that Obama and his admn. will be able to accomplish that. I hope I am right . The outcome of the bloodthirsty bush regime and it's encouragement of all sorts of law breaking is that many many more countries saw the evil that Israel has been perpetuating .. NOW MOST countries in the world CONDEMN ISRAEL .. and they brought that condemnation all on themselves with help from murderer 'bush'!
