Could this Thomas Gaffney be the same as a director of The Great Canadian Gaming Corporation?

Mr. Gaffney is president of Thomas Gaffney Architect Inc. which provides planning, design and management services for the real estate industry. Mr. Gaffney has over 25 years of experience in architecture and development and has directed the development of shopping centres and malls as well as other institutional, commercial and residential projects across Western Canada. Mr. Gaffney is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, a registered member of the Architectural Institute of British Columbia and an associate member of the Alberta Association of Architects since 1983.

There is also a book entitled Winning Blackjack At Atlantic City And Around The World authored by a Thomas Gaffney. Don't know if it is the same Gaffney, though.
