I think CNBC article or spot actually brought attention to the fact wamu is still trading. Anyone I talk to about wamu is floored they still trade

As a policy, Series 7 brokers would have a problem recomending WAMU. too much risk, and they would risk their Series 7. not gonna happen.

Good post, I agree. Especially " bad publicity is better than none." In this case that's true; the public thinks of wamu as the failure that only j. dimon could save by powers begotten from a wise powerful, near god-like gov.

This is very well said and exactly how I viewed the media info. I think we see more articles and media tomorrow, no matter what the stock does, I believe it will rise up again. That 141 Mil vol on Tuesday is telling. Climber should have another chance, along with many others.
