Our 'Competition':

Thank you for your recent inquiry about the Envion Oil Demonstration project. As you may be aware, Montgomery County is only hosting the Envion demonstration at our Shady Grove Transfer Station, and it is not part of the County’s operations. Currently, the company that you are referring to, Envion, is utilizing a small area of the transfer station for demonstration purposes only, they are not in regular production or processing of Montgomery County plastics at this time. Additionally, the County is not aware of the information you referenced in your email nor have we received any formal or informal documentation or request from the State that directs Envion to dismantle their equipment and cease operations.
