Check with your broker. I don't think the shares will be in limbo. IMO, when you buy them, they're yours. It may take 3 days for them to settle, but the shares are yours. Besides, this thing could halt for a few days upon settlement, then resume trading til the actual exchange takes place, which could be weeks out. JMO, but I'm not concerned with that, If I weren't convinced of the above, I would talk to my broker.
