In a recent mail sent by Ken Stead to Birdmanbob, Ken said Noranda mining company is attending PDAC. But Noranda doesn't exist since 2005, it merged and became Falconbridge. One year later (2006) it was bought up by the swiss company Xstrata.
One could think that Ken is not aware of the companies attending and even doesn't know who his competitors are. But probably Ken just wanted to state that all biggies are present and had Noranda still in mind from the past. Who cares actually.
Ken Stead is a well respected person in mining and does know that realm very well.

Noranda Inc. was a mining and metallurgy company originally from Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, Canada. It was listed on the TSX under the symbol NRD.LV. After eventually acquiring a large interest in rival mining company Falconbridge, it merged with that company in 2005. The combined company continued under the name Falconbridge Limited, ending the Noranda name. Only one year later in 2006 Falconbridge was acquired by the Swiss-based mining company Xstrata.
