I don't normally post on IHUB, but I will throw my 2 cents in. There are many things to look at and consider. First you have to look at the buying power of Iraq. They have already spent billions with companies like GE for power plants. Many other US companies have already made a bundle with this war as well. The one thing you have to look at is with the current value of the Dinar, Iraq cannot sustain growth with the Dinar's current value. For all these US companies to continue to reep the rewards of War the dinar has to go up in value. There are also some that say the US has been working on increasing the value of the Dinar and then will turn around and pay all it's debt off to China with all the Dinars we hold after the revaule. This is possible. Either way if we do not do anything quick within 5-10 years you can pretty much kiss the dollar goodbye. China I think knows this and is why they have been working with other countries to try and make their currency the world bench mark. Chinas US currency reserve has be going down fast. Another thing to look at is we are in a Global Market now. People are not loyal to the US anymore. Even US companies will go where the money is and right now all the money is in emerging economies like Iraq. Basically to sum it up there are more reasons for a high revalue then a LOP. Hedge funds all over the world have been plowing into Iraq looking at investments. The big question is when. Even Donald Trump admitted to buying 30 mil US worth of Dinars. Now I will be the first person to say that everything that man has touched has gone bankrupt, but to dumpp that kind of bling on something like this speaks for itself. Everything is speculation. When I bought 15ooo shares of GGP at .43 it was speculation, look where that ended up. You have to look at every little aspect of revauling the Dinar. Who stands to gain the most and who will lose the most. We all try and speculate as to when the revalue will happen, stop predicting and sit back and wait, it will come IMO. Bush said the US will benefit greatly from all of this and I think the revaluation is what he meant. Along with all the contracts. Time will tell but if US companies want to see even more growth the Dinar has to increase to increase Iraqs purchasing power.
