TED, I have the last few 10 Week Cycle lows as:

September 2, 2009 then 50 trading days to November 12, 2009 then 52 trading days to January 29, 2010.

I'd have to disagree with your statement "that little is gained by trying to imagine the future of the market". If a person is playing Index Options and knows aproximately when to look for a cycle low, a person can profit on a high percentage of those trades.
