My basis Jim is arcane:) The smash down from 1459 was the day the 12 year uptrend lower line was shattered when it broke 1450 with emphasis. There had been a major fight to maintain that line but once it broke then came the cave in.
I just tend to view these points on retrace to be major resistance points. May be a wrong attitude:) Max
