That was a nervy move. Although ALNY was a tad bloated from its RNAi publication and promotional writeup in Barron’s, I generally resist the temptation to short microcap stocks. It would not be all that surprising if Merck (or another BP) offered to buy out ALNY at a substantial premium to its current price.
