Edited/DOS:One thing that makes me both ANGRY!!!!!!! and also knowing Soros MUST be doing something RIGHT.
I dated someone who worked at the Soros foundation in Eastern Europe. I learned a bit about how the wheels grind at the Soros foundation. One thing that I learned that he has no idea where a lot of the foundation money goes. The foundation has criteria and anyone who can meet those criteria setting up an organization that promotes the open society ideals of the foundation gets funding for three years. At least thirty people worked at the foundation where my girlfriend worked. Multiply that by how many foundations he has in the world and you can imagine he would not be able to keep up with all that goes on. His foundation money ends up doing some strange things at times. In the F.R.Y. it once paid to destroy gypsie housing and build shiny new apartments on top of them. I think it was part of a small ethnic cleansing program. When the Soros foundation realized what had happend they offered to give the apartments to the gypises. The Roma told them to go to hell they were no longer their homes. They had lived their for quite some time and the buildings were quite old. I am sure Soros knew nothing of this till after the fact. I am sure that the foundation did not know that Roma were being made homeless in the process. People can steal from the foundation short term. The hope is that in the long term the organizations that last do good things for many more than three years.
Soros is NOW being attacked relentlessly by those, we have an agenda, those Stalinist that never die asssholes but just change their names, as being(he Soros) a far right wing fascist in the EMPLOY of the West regards the Ukraine.
Soros is not perfect. My girlfriend will testify to that even though she greatly admires him. How the hell could anyone be working in as many places as he does, be perfect? I hear so many criticisms that no one is willing to back up. I came to the conclusion that in the case of Soros better than %90 of the criticisms fell under the category of "No good deed goes unpunished"
The young generation in Ukraine is not Stalinist from what I experienced. Even if the old thugs are there days are numbered. CHange is coming to Ukraine. The quesion is when and what kind.
Whereas the Far Right Wing press are relentlessly attacking him as a Lunatic Far Left COMMIE. THIS IS WHY I WILL NOT GET INVOLVED IN THIS LUDICROUS UKRAINE DISCUSSION.
In the markets and in politics "when in doubt lay out" is often the best policy. Even if you lay out of the Ukraine discussion you can still oppose the thugs at OCSE. They screw up more than Ukraine.
Anyone who can get the right to comdemn them as a left wing commie and at the same time get the left to condemn them as a right wing facist is doing something right in my book. If I ever find that either herd is agreeing with me, cheering me on and asking me to run for office I would immediately know I was doing something wrong.
