While I agree that many jail house conversions occur shortly'
before a scheduled parole hearing, I disagree that it is ever
"too late". A thief on a cross discovered that. There are
also many prison conversions that seems to withstand our
skeptical test of many, many years after release. Fortunately,
on this issue, neither we nor our judicial system are the
judges.
