Steph, neat website, but it lacks detail. For example, here's one line item:

Awards to ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT & TOURISM, TEXAS GOVERNOR OFFICE OF:

It might cause someone to say, "OMG, $2 billion for tourism in Texas!?! What a waste of government tax dollars!!!"

The problem with making that assumption is that it doesn't break down where the money went, so people see tourism and get all upset. However, I went to Recovery.org and looked it up, and found a break down right here:
