Thanks, but I still don't get it. If it's not really a question of money, and the possible drawbacks of a not exact equivalent are taken into account--as in the case of generic Wellbutrin--then why not just make an exact formulation? Why even take the chance--and why does the FDA take the chance?--that the new formulation may cause adverse side effects and/or may not have the same efficacy as the original?
