Although you may consider portions of the plea agreement somewhat fuzzy, the agreement also says Matt Brown agreed to produce a statement of his current financial condition. His net worth may or may not be revealed to the public. I personally have no idea.
Still, agreeing to reveal his current net worth, apparently is part of his overall agreement to "come clean" in the eyes of the court.
Some might interpret it as seeking justice tempered with mercy.
