In most states they are already allowed to vote. Doesn't matter, 'cause they usually do not bother.
FWIW, felons should have all their constitutional rights IMHO. They should be able to vote, keep and bear arms, and anything else. I for one do not feel threatened by it.
IMHO the biggest mistake the founders made was to change the word "property" and replaced it with "pursuit of happiness." But that is what they did, and the only thing worse than the constitution is any other formulation for government ever put into effect.
Them's the rules, and I for one am willing to live by those rules. Somebody tell Obama, Schumer, and Pelosi.
