This thought just crossed my mind. Lets say Nokia still give IDCC a hard time for 3G, and IDCC says fine we definitely know we have standard compliant LTE 4G and we will jump the gun and sue you for not agreeing to the LTE 4G rate and have those products banned and maybe the 3G also banned. Now that would be a kick in the rear for sure. I mean if you are going to fight, you might as well add the next generation if you can. What is your opinion on this?
I don't believe its all about Nokia. It may seem that way at first glance.But Nokia is not growing as quick as the market demands. Therefore our other customers increase our value, as the projected earnings release states.
IMO
I believe that long term 3g success is "all about Nok".
I believe IDCC knows it but does not want to admit it publicly. I think the new business opportunities is another way to get at Nokia to make a fair settlement.
