the public at large is to blame for it's apathy....but, I believe we are looking at the culmination of years of work....and forces within both parties are to blame....
However, after a concerted effort to nudge and push for 25 years towards the left, the nation finally gets to the precipice.....
it was literally, impossible not to see this crisis coming....yet, those in power denied it would occur or rendered tacit lip service to those who saw everything spiraling out of control....
letting the ship sink and giving it a little nudge is also a plan....
the last straw was the Dems efforts just before the 2008 elections....no one even had to call the plays.....the sharks were in the water....they knew exactly what to do....
every move has villianized the wealthy, & capitalism while they usurped the banking industry, the auto industry, breathed life and power into unions, paid off the pharma industry, and, created a slush fund(s), i.e. TARP and stimulus, for their political use and personal enrichment....
yes, you are right, ultimately, we have no one to blame but ourselves
