Well today might just be a good day to blow up the house. I need a little guide to gas fireplaces. Anybody got a link to schemata or a parts list or something helpful like that? I already have a pack of matches.

I did consider corian, even thought of sending away for samples.
Guess my heart is set on granite - unless I can be persuaded otherwise, (like it's cost prohibitive!).

I have corian and have been very happy with it. It's been almost 8 years and has held up well.
