They filed another 13D on 8/30, showing purchases of another 700k on nine days, averaging about $2.20.
All in all, it looks like Kinross has gone from 8.8% to 14.1% this year, although I can't tell when they got the original 8.8%. They're buying steadily, but patiently, in order to keep the price down.
On the plus side, it certainly looks like Kinross is interested. On the minus side, without Kinross's buying, the price might be somewhat lower.
