Interesting-- but they were willing to pay him $150k in cash and 3.5 mill in stock -- so the stock was trading in the pennies then?
I didn't see that-- price seems to have been in the $1 area back then...
... even so, wouldn't that be all the more reason to not give back the shares so easily/readily given the acceleration of price? $200k in exchange for ~ $24.5mill?
