funny you should mention the generation thing
wife and I went to Walmart this weekend
something she wanted to get there
and after being in the swill of humanity that was there that day
we get up by the checkout and I'm looking for a Farmer's Almanac
and there's this little girl about 3 or so
screaming at the top of her lungs
and yep.....she definitely had a good set of lungs
the mother (spitting image of Palin-for real, no kidding, funny coincidence) is just yakking away and ignoring her
So the gal at the checkout is about our age and we're both just shaking our heads
the gal finally drags the kid out the door
I get up to her line and said..
you know..my wife and I were just talking
and we're believing that our generation is the last that has consideration for others
from here on out it's the ME people.....the I want people that want everything handed to them without working for it
from now on we're going to be seeing nothing but more brats like that woman and her screaming kid that was pissed she couldn't have the candy she wanted......
and it is possible this is true......
but we're not going out without a fight........
just like the 20 something kid who smashed a 15 lb roast down on our bread in the cart at the grocery store
I just shook my head my head and asked him LOUDLY
Just what in the hell were you thinking????!?!?!?!?!
Oh that's right.......you weren't thinking.....
because if you had a brain......you'd be dangerous!
