Hi basserdan: Darn, you make me think. Yes, we typically resolve the debt problem by inflating. But I'm not so sure Mr. Greenspan will go that route. He's made it clear that fed fund rates will, and have, gone up 25 basis points. How long this will continue I surely don't know. But, gold bullion and selected gold stocks might help if the general level of prices rise.
