Thanks, I almost put Dent's book back on the shelf at Borders, until I read on the jacket that he expected a wicked selloff late in '05. If he'd been all about 'straight to the stratosphere' I would have left it there. Maybe he doesn't speak that to audiences and you make sense as to why.
As with any book, I will learn some things... which is why I bought sailing for dummies too, though i've been sailing since I was a young tike. Dent's use of demographics should be enlightening. Though for years, it's been suggested that the bust in the markets will come in ~ 2009 because the boomers will start retiring en masse and dipping into equities.
Alas, when something is predicted by so many, so early, does it come?
