I don't know if that particular is in the health insurance bill, but I wouldn't put it past all the congressmen, both Repuke and DemoRats, to put stuff of that nature in bills, each with their own totallitarian agenda.
I'm an old man now, and I was pretty much involved in politics from the late 60's into the late 90's. And I tell you one thing, practically every last one of them is a crook, and I wouldn't put anything past them.
As for the kind of question you pose, and in another vein, they used to say the same thing years back about other bills, and nowadays we take those things for granted.
