There's the upside for many. Wish I'd flipped some myself but I've got plenty and so I decided not to be too greedy. Just me, but greed has always been my trading downfall.
So the bears keep talking about an upcoming consolidation of the share capital and I want to comment. An R/S is a negative thing in market perception only. In itself, an R/S does not affect the value of anyone's shareholdings (aside from preferreds). So again, from a legitimate company perspective, consolidating the share capital might make good business sense at some point down the road. Because, obviously, uplisting may require the company to meet share price requirements. Maybe the price will make it there with the current O/S, I don't know.
I do believe Dean is motivated to take whatever steps necessary to make Quasar a huge success. Moving to a higher exchange is good for shareholders so an R/S could very well turn out to be a good business decision in future. With financial disclosure in place to back up the company's value, consolidating the share capital could be relatively damage free once the knee-jerk reaction clears.
Shareholders don't like to see O/S or A/S increases, don't like reverse splits, don't like information being withheld, etc. etc. But---- if any of these actions are taken for the best interests of the company, these shareholders are simply biting the hand that feeds them.
